I decided to treat myself to some Gaslands accessories for my birthday to go with my cars and terrain. At the same time, I decided to do a bit of repainting, black-washing, and drybrushing my scatter terrain. I wasn’t happy with how light everything came out before, but repainting made them nicely gritty and grim. Just what you’d expect in a post-apocalypse.
Here’s what I picked up:
- Factory Seconds Skid Dice that I added little dots of silver sharpie for numbers 1-6 so they can double for damage/evasion rolls.
- MDF Driving Templates that I based in black and patches of red spraypaint. Then drybrushed on bronze, grey, brown, and light brown. I hit the relevant gear selections with green (trivial), yellow (normal), red (hazardous), and black (unusable) so that it would be easier to read at a glance. A final black wash and black pen let me darken the lines and text.
- Acrylic Token Set to cover hazards, ammo, fires, and votes for easier tracking.
- Black Storage Box to put everything in, with nice sections to keep things organized. I might have my wife do a cool Cricut vinyl design for the lid.
